This record was my grasping hope for a way to get back on my feet after one of the darkest times in my life. It was my dragon to slay. I did every part of it on my own because I needed to prove to myself that I could. I produced, arranged, recorded, and mixed it. It was my crucible. Every note, every turn of every digital knob meant more to me than almost any single action I’d ever taken. I played every part and sang every vocal with the exception of five beautiful harmony parts that were sung by my wonderful girlfriend, Sarah Price. Using only words, it’s impossible to effectively tell you what creating this music and has done to turn my life around. But if you listen to the songs, you just might be able to feel it. I really hope you can.
